Like I said in my last post, we had supper club on Saturday night. Beyond my Comfort Food Menu I also set up a mini bar and flower arrangement. We want our guests to always feel really comfortable and at home. Isn’t that the best part of throwing a house party, people feeling like they are at home?
I served the food strait out from the stove top… so I placed the plates, napkins, and plastic wear right off to the side. It isn’t the fanciest thing to use paper plates but it was quick and easy…
I love putting the forks, spoons, and knives in the boys Carolina Cups.
They get one a year at Christmas.
Here is my simple flower arrangement in the middle of my dining room table…
It was such a fun night, at one point all twenty of us were sitting in our living room telling stories and sharing fun tales with one another.
Sunday morning I realized I didn’t take a single picture on Saturday. So here is my almost broken down bar. I love to have some unexpected fun liquors such as Cafe Patron, Fireball, and Midnight Moon. They are fabulous conversation starters in so many ways!!
Plus how cute are those straws??
A great friend of mine gave me these napkins… aren’t they hilarious and true!!
Saturday night was so much fun and a great way to kick off the year. I felt so blessed to have had all those wonderful people in our home on Saturday.
