From the fabulous Alison Pincus of One Kings Lane, she now brings you Hunters Alley. It is a site similar to 1st Dibs in the sense that there will be decor and furnishings resold. It is different in the fact that it doesn’t have to be some design mastermind, it can be you or me selling our loved pieces. She gave a fantastic interview with The Zoe Report that gave me insight into the entrepreneur she is and then also what Hunters Alley is going to be.
Currently they are procuring pieces, so I’d sign up now if you want to be on the ground floor of a really cool site where you can purchase or sell completely unique and original pieces.
OK who are we kidding I am loving the ginger jar and the tiger chair…
Also, the coolest thing about this site is that folks like you and I can also sell our furniture (listing are for up to 21 days) that we are no longer using. Have a fabulous chinoiserie screen that you loved in your home but now don’t have a place for it? No problem… you can sell it here. With the option of self-service or concierge you get the choice to take pictures and write a bit about your piece or for a different commission structure you can let Hunter’s Alley do the work. There are no seller fees. Love the different options.
The site hasn’t launched yet but I’m already loving the concept and am excited for the sales to begin. Based on how One Kings Lane revolutionized the way furniture is sold, I can’t wait to see how Hunters Alley makes an impact.
