Dashing Fave … BohoBlu

Posted by on June 17, 2014

Last week I had the pleasure of checking out the newest shop in Reynolda Village, BohoBlu.  Created by Jenny Stilley and Patrick Golimowski, who while on their honeymoon to Puerto Rico, came across a boutique full of cute affordable clothing.  They decided to bring the idea home to Greensboro.  Jenny’s tag line is “It’s easy to look good in $200 jeans and a $150 blouse. The people we are looking for enjoy the thrill of the gorgeous $39 top or $49 dress that makes you look and feel like a million bucks.”  Now with four stores and a fifth and sixth in the works, BohoBlu is thriving though out the Piedmont.

When walking into the boutique, I wasn’t sure what I would find.  I was surprised because I thought I was walking into a high end shop.  Everything well merchandised and coordinated.  Not a single detail left undone.  I knew I was in for a fun treat.

These OkaB shoes are so popular.  They are sold at high end spots like the Spa at Nordstrom.

As I perused through the store, I started picking up items I was excited to try on.  Before I knew it my dressing room was filled to the top.  This is the perfect place to go for a day dress, cute shorts, jeans, or fun accessories.  You never have to worry about the price because everything is so reasonable.  Here were my three fave looks I wanted to share.

This was my favorite outfit.  Perfect because it was so comfy, yet stylish. I knew I’d be able to wear it all through the day and not have to change. Plus it was bright and happy. I was sold!

I do love a day dress. This one was so easy and stylish to wear I knew it would be perfect all summer long.

Finally, who doesn’t love orange?! It is one of the big trends this season as is tribal patterns. I’m obsessed with this fun pattern. It could easily be worn into the fall as well with a long sleeve, long top.

Jenny and I discussed how she chooses what goes in the shops.  The team had just gotten back from L.A. and the Atlanta Market.  When buying for each store, she only buys two of each size, of each product.  That way the inventory is always fresh and you won’t see yourself walking down the street.  It is such a smart decision because there is nothing worse than walking into a party and you see someone across the room in the same dress!!

If you are a mom, wife, employee, volunteer, or anything else in-between like me– you need to discover BohoBlu.  The experience is that of a high end boutique without the sticker shock of one.  I couldn’t be more excited for all of you to try the shop and let me know what you think.
