Have you ever been driving on I-40 toward Raleigh and seen the big signs for a fabric outlet and wondered is it worth getting off the highway? Well a couple of weeks ago I was on a trip to Raleigh and was running early, so I made my way into the Loomcraft Textiles Outlet to find out what treasures were in store.
As I walked in I was blown away by all of the fabrics, so many choices but would I find anything worth stopping for?
I found this one fabric that I liked but wasn’t what I was looking for… Wish I had a pillow that needed to be made.
Then I came across this Tilton Fenwick Fabric by Duralee … I think it would be perfect for a boys room or a nursery. I love it. It is absolutely what I think of when the term Modern Traditional is used. It easily can be taken from cradle to high school.
I’ve seen it for $35.00 per yard online. Here it is $12.99. Who doesn’t love to save over 50%??
Then I came across this Manon Blue Fabric from the Suburban Home Collection also a Durable Collection.
I found it for $20.95 online and it was $12.99 at the outlet. Not as good of a deal as before but still saving money.
What I liked about the outlet is it was organized by color and also had a section for outdoor fabric. I would absolutely go back again when I am on my way to Raleigh and check out what they had at the time. I talked with one of the ladies who worked there and she said they are constantly getting new inventory. Definitely worth the trip if you are going that way.
