A few of my Fave Blogs and Some Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Posted by on May 5, 2014

Mother’s Day is on Sunday!!   If you haven’t gotten your mom, sister or wife anything yet here are a few of my current faves from a few of my must-read blogs or their shops.
Untitled #17

If you need a quirky and fun gift, head over to i suwannee and see what Jamie Meares has going on in her online shop, Furbish Studio.  The “bless your heart”  ring dish and the “Housekeeping ain’t no joke” print jumped right off the computer screen when I saw them.  While you are there see what Jamie and the Furbish gals have been up to…  PS — check out Shep.
If your mom or wife is a wine lover jump over to another blog fave of mine Waiting on Martha.  In her shop, I found some of these gorge Agate and glass wine stopper and  coaster set.  Mandy has a fantastic eye for style from parties to interiors.  I also adore her recipes.  I am trying to the guac tonight.
The Zhush is a blog/online shop edited by Sue De Chiara.  My fave Zhush posts are the P.O.P. on Mondays.  She has a great eye for new traditional interiors.  In her shop I found the Dana Gibson Canton Blue Cachepot.  I’d put an orchid in it and deliver it as a gift!
Magpie is another blog that always leaves me wanting to read another post.  Written by Haskell Harris, her tagline is “Style through a Southern Lens”  from architectural elements to fashion, Haskell introduces refreshing items to her readers.  This past weekend she introduced a line of tasseled jewelry, Melvin.  I hopped right over to the website, loved it and had to share.  The line is based out of Charlotte.. added bonus:)
I made a Mother’s Day pick too.  Rocks and Ruffles, based out of Greenville, SC are rock-solid stylish bracelets that look even better stacked.   I know a lot of moms that would love to have a few wrapped up for Mother’s Day.
Good Luck with finishing up your Mother’s Day shopping and an early Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms I know!!
